Picked up my first mosin nagant

Ended up picking up a m39 mosin from a friend. It is the model with the hex receiver. The only problem is that his dad sporterized it several years ago and never completely finished the job. I have wanted a mosin for a long time and couldn't turn it down for the price but I wish it was still in its factory configuration. Now I'm trying to figure out which direction to go with it. I suppose the only choice I have is to finish the sporter job. I'm just glad I finally have a mosin .

I wish I knew how to post them from my phone. It has a nice feeling Boyd synthetic stock on it as well.
