How are the Glock 30 Gen 4's running ? I know the standard G30's were awesome. I still have one. The SF models had early problems. Now there are the new Gen 4 G30's.

Have any of you have good experiences or bad ?

I have never heard of a complaint with the Gen 4 30. I actually think the problematic SF models you speak of were the ambidextrous 21sf.

Yeah I agree but there were a few 30 SF ones with trouble.

I am thinking of trading my Glock 19 for one . I seem to carry my Glock 17 more than my 19 , I know , that is crazy , but I just got an urge to get a Glock 30 Gen 4 .

So far the reviews seem to be pretty good.  If I am not mistaken , the Gen 4 is pretty much a G30 with the SF grip length and different textured grip . Am I correct ?

Have you fondled one yet? I would recommend you do that first. I recently got my hands on a G30S and it didn't fit my hand at all. That damn hump in the back is horrible.
