DP12

Does anyone on here own a DP12 shotgun? 

 

if so what are your thoughts of it, I am considering one in the future after some other things are paid off

I held one. It felt really bulky. But even more so than that, I think it would take ALOT of training to remember to fire two rounds then pump, fire two more then pump. As opposed to a standard pump where you pump after every shot, or a semi where you shoot until empty, especially when the adrenaline gets flowing.

That's exactly what I thought about as well, pump once - shoot twice seems like a recipe for a royal screw up, imho. Nifty concept though, for sure.

This is a good review of it pro & con the safety thing seems like a design flaw

They feel cool but when a friend bought a brand new one and took it out to shoot it, it wouldn't fire . Had to send it back to manufacturer and they fixed it , but still the thought lingers of will it work I guess

Very neat but overly complicated...i played with one at bills outpost...a good semi auto or pump is a better all around choice and you could honestly pick up one of each for the price of the DP12.

Been doing well...just haven't been into the ol' Firearms game in awhile...easing my feet back "into the water" since I sold my "fast car"....im a one hobby at a time kinda guy lol.
