A pleasant diversion... December snow!

It's snowing like crazy here in Rutherford County, TN and it made for a very pleasant diversion from everything else going on in my part of the world right now. I'm a kid at heart and God knows it... so snow was an excellent way to get my mind off of the bad things going on and focus on some of the more simple pleasures.

How about the rest of you? Got snow?

No snow in my area of Hendersonville. It started snowing a bit on my way home from work, but nothing was sticking.

You guys got it easy down there. I'm currently up in Burlington Vermont. It started snowing a coupld hours ago. They are calling for 10-12" before it quits. I might get tomorrow off!!

Our driveway is pretty steep, and we had some fun with that!

You can see Abby sliding down the driveway a little here. I was hoping to get a shot of one of the kids falling! They were successful only about haf the time!

Ok, I don't have boots, just these Asics sneakers. They kept building up piles of snow under my heels! Every 10-15 steps I had to kick these big ol' chunks off. I'm starting to know what high heels feel like now!

It's just cold here. Not even freezing cold, just cold. I want snow, you guys are lucky.

I was annoyed by the whole thing. It took me 90 minutes to make it home, which is normally a 25 minute trip. I thought I left all this crap behind in Michigan.

It snowed a bit, but it didn't stick around. Totally a non-event.

It's actually supposed to warm up this weekend, and not precipitate any more for a few days. Oh well...
