A pleasant diversion... December snow!

It's snowing like crazy here in Rutherford County, TN and it made for a very pleasant diversion from everything else going on in my part of the world right now. I'm a kid at heart and God knows it... so snow was an excellent way to get my mind off of the bad things going on and focus on some of the more simple pleasures. :yum:

How about the rest of you? Got snow?

Thanks. I'm amazed at how few people near us decorate their homes for Christmas. That was always one of the things I loved growing up.

Alrighty, here's the fun on Academy Way!

Here's Kelley (my wife) with neighbors

Here's Zander (neighbor's dog) he was a hoot! He'd catch the snowballs you throw at him and chew them all up! He's a great dog.

Our driveway is pretty steep, and we had some fun with that!

You can see Abby sliding down the driveway a little here. I was hoping to get a shot of one of the kids falling! They were successful only about haf the time!

Ok, I don't have boots, just these Asics sneakers. They kept building up piles of snow under my heels! Every 10-15 steps I had to kick these big ol' chunks off. I'm starting to know what high heels feel like now!

That's all, folks!
