Hard Travel Pistol Case

I am going to be traveling for the holidays (driving) and will be going through 7 or 8 states, give or take a few. A few of those states I will need to lock up my pistols, ammo & magazines. What are you guys using?

I used my box that my Sig came in before, and now I have a pelican that I still need to get some replacement foam so that I can nest all of the pistols into one case.

A briefcase might be in order. Fairly common at most 2nd hand stores, cheap new at places like TGMaxx

I got mine in trade with buddy for a rifle bag. Mine is a 1600 and it is a big one, but it encourages me to buy some more guns to fill in the space.

Paintball cases and accessories sometimes work for true firearms. A friend had a hard, aluminum locking case that was very nice bought from a paintball online site. It cost a third of what it could / would cost as a 'typical' gun case, yet it's just as strong, durable, etc.

Just a suggestion.

Get one larger than you think you need. You'll be amazed how soon you outgrow it.
