I have the opportunity to buy several older guns,Walthers mod ppk 765 and a mauser mod hsc 765 are the one's that interest me the most. They both have the original leather holsters but are far from mint. Best I can tell they run 200 to 800. Does that sound right to you guys? Are they worth messing with? I could probably get them for 200 or 300.

Those are both great quality guns and well worth the 2-300 you have mentioned simply from a craftsmanship stand point. Down side is the 32ACP round. More or less a novelty plinker in a +P carry world.

Thanks guys, they are not relly my cup of tea but if it wouldn't be too hard to sale them maybe they could fund a compact 1911 that I'm sure I need.

I'll have to retract my earlier post after seeing this one. If you don't want them, I'd suggest you leave them be; or at least do some serious research as to their condition and value. Me? I'd buy them and put them up as long as they weren't broken, badly pitted, or bubba'ed.

I've a pretty fair assortment of antique mouse guns, but none of the models you've listed.

Heh I was about to say buy it now until I realized the 765 was a pistol :(

Gunbroker has the hsc @ 300-500 depending on its condition and such.  At the worst 300 is a break-even point it looks like; you might turn a profit.

There are too many walthers for me to be sure what you are talking about here.  If its 300 each, youll need to figure out the value.  If its 300 for both, go for it.

I rarely ever get rid of a gun and I don't have these in my hands yet so I guess I'm not sure what I'll do for sure. What really sucks is if I don't get them they will go back in the nasty cold garage, one Ithaca shotgun is already beyond repair. They need a home.

The Ithaca may not be beyond repair. I might just go from a nice collectible to a nice shooter.

If you are not interested in the PPK, or if you want to resell it to me, I might be interested. I have always wanted to do a silenced PPK like my buddy Bond, James Bond, uses.
