Case Ejector for cheap Lee single stage press

I love doing my depriming on my little Lee Reloader press. I got it this little gem on sale for around $23 a few years ago and have no regrets. I just started wet tumbling with SS media, so depriming before tumbling is a no-brainer now.

I don't know if anybody already makes these or not, but if they do I couldn't find one for my press. For the record, I probably spent more time making this than I'll save in the first couple of years, but it was fun and I was bored. I still need to come up with a better way to clamp the press in place, but my C-clamps are occupied at the moment.

I saw those too. Do you have one? Does it work well?

I don't have one. And they say in the reviews that it has some little quirks. Looks like the cap that holds the spent primers can come off while you're using it. That's the biggest positve. If it pops off and sends primer spooge all over your lap, it takes away some of the fun.

You need to work out a little actuator you can control with your foot... like hooked up to a throttle cable so you can time it all together and go faster. Looks cool dude!

I have one, it works well. Yes you need to make sure the primer cup is on tight.

Because of low leverage I can usually tell if the primer is crimped by feel.

I admit I like your idea too. I may work on something like that in the future. Nice work!

After using this a couple of weeks I've decided it ain't too bad. When I bring the handle up, I just push the flipper with my middle finger. I don't even have to take my hand off the handle at all and I don't have to reach between the handle and press body to remove the case. I'm sure there's a better idea, but for this cheap lil press, it'll work fine.
