Where to stay near Chattanooga Rifle Club?

I am planning to go to the Rimfire Benchrest match (ARA) at CRC this weekend and plan to go down Friday and spend the night instead of getting up at the buttcrack of dawn to drive down.  

 

Where is the best area to stay near there.  It looks like Exit 11 in Ooltewah is the exit to get to the range, but is that a decent area?

I would look in the cleveland area, exit 25/27 (Paul Huff Pky)  has several motels, places to eat, and you're only 15 miles north of the exit you need.

There are several hotels at exit 11. Even more at exit 5/hamilton place

 

Those are both perfectly fine and safe parts of town

Exit 11 is about as safe as one can expect. I can only think of one older hotel there, a Best Western maybe, but everything else is newer.

any of the exits from the hamilton place mall to exit 11.  all have good hotels and are safe.  all exits have good places to eat.
