Looking for VV N320 source

Hey guys. Traveling to Nashville this week. Wondering where a good place to go for reloading components. Specifically VV N320 and Winchester primers.

You can check with A&H reloading on 4th Ave S.  If they don't and you don't mind a 45 min drive, Midsouth Shooters has it in stock as of right now.  They are exit 11 in Clarksville.  You can purchase ahead of time and they will have it ready for pickup.  At least that way you know you will get it.

Why VV320?

I have used it and there are other powders that work as well that are not as rare as hen's teeth.

And I have never seen Winchester primers. Not saying that they are not made but I have never seen them in East Tennessee.

As stated, Hozzie said, try A&H.  Reloader's Bench in Mt Juliet may have what you are looking for, but I would call first.

They are pretty common around here, especially 209s.

Thanks for the responses so far. I maybe should have prefaced by saying these are for 9mm competition loads. I usually pickup Winchester primers at gun shows and they haven't been too difficult to find. CCI's are fine too.

But I've been using titegroup and was recently turned on to N320 by a friend. I'm open to other powders some of you all are using for IDPA/USPSA.

I really like Power Pistol. I have also used a lot of HS6 and Longshot and have nothing bad to say about them.

I have a pound of N320 and was working up subsonic 9mm loads. So far I am not too impressed with it for my 160g subsonic loads.

Jacketed or cast bullets?  WST does almost anything N320 does, except remain consistent when the weather changes.  N320 was the Rolls-Royce of powders for .40/180 major shooters--fast burning, "push" recoil impulse, lower burn temperature (better for lead/coated bullets), meters well, low flash, not as messy, not temperature sensitive.  It's never easy to find and it's more expensive when you do, but it's worth it if you shoot USPSA Limited.

The store in Lenoir City used to have all kinds of Win primers. It closed sadly.

 

N320 is THE powder for 147 per the gun gamers. I use it but I use e3 too and soon to being using some vintage 231.

VV 3N37 will get a 147g to 1,200 fps. It is not considered +P either.

I loaded some .1 grain off of max and it chronograghed 1,195 fps if I remember correctly. I know it was above 1,190 fps. It felt like a 357.
