Music City Tactical Shooters will be hosting a monthly IDPA match Saturday morning and Steel Challenge in the afternoon 03/19/16 at our Dickson, TN location. Setup begins at 7am, shooters meeting at 8: 45, rounds downrange at 9am.

The MD has prepared 6 challenging stages. We will shoot the 3 classifier stages(with no reshoots) and 3 unlimited stages. We will shoot 4 stages of the Steel Challenge(approx 100 rounds if you don't miss).

We offer a safe and fun atmosphere and welcome new shooters. Come out and bring your friends. Our weekly matches are a great opportunity to hone your skills and improve your shooting accuracy. Any and all safe shooters and serviceable weapons are welcomed.

Bring the pistol caliber carbines/race guns for NFC division(will not have a classifier turned in if used). Edited by HOGNUT

I plan to be there sporting my new Dodger hat.

You are not right. I have one of the pics you sent as my new screen background.

The round count will be a little high for IDPA, around 140 rounds, but remember, the classifier is 90 rounds limited.

The rats are out so we have to go through the sewer pipe (tunnel) to get them. It's going to be fun.

Don't worry, I got something for you too.

Kakattack, if your question is whether this Classifier will count and be submitted to IDPA then the answer is yes.

If a classifier is part of a match then there is no reshoots allowed per the rulebook. All stages is scored as part of the official match and scores are posted as such. Then I remove the non classifier stages and they are uploaded to IDPA HQ for classification by our club contacts

Hurry out to the MCTS range on Saturday morning. We will be taking care of a "LARGE RAT" infestation in bay 1 and we would love to have you come out and shoot some of the rats.

Fun day today. Thanks to everyone who came to shoot and especially those who came early to finish setting up. Incorporating the classifier in to a match worked great. Terry did good with his stages that were both challenging and fun.

Thank you everyone for coming out.  The possible rain held off and unfortunately the cold weather was not suitable for shorts.  Thank you to whomever built the fire in Bay 2.  It was great to see everyone that was available.  I have pulled practiscore scores into an Excel and then modified some headings to get it into a proper format for the club contact(s) to upload to IDPA HQ.  Once I pull the IDPA numbers from the master ipad, we will send it accordingly.

Information has been sent to the club contacts and MDs of the club to process. Thank you again for the help, the competition each of you bring and most importantly the friendly camaraderie.
