Are there any NFA shops that would do an appraisal left in the Nashville area

A buddy of mine is far senior to me and has a couple of transferable machine guns that he's had since the '60s, but he's not interested in researching them on the net so he's looking for a Nashville (or 50 mile radius) NFA shop that can appraise them and possibly handle selling them.

Who's left in the Nashville area  that you gents would trust to do a good job and treat him fairly?

Thanks!

Yeah 173rd would be the dude to talk to. I spoke to him recently and he mentioned being a little swamped with work, in case you dont get word back right away

Depending on what that are I am VERY interested. I will pay a fair price and anyone on this site will vouch for me.

PM inbound with my number.

I can also handle everything related to the sale and transfer if I purchase.

Says he who is sure of himself ;o) .. JK .. Gordon is one of our greats hands down!

OP, If he'll send me a list I'll do a quick assessment.. I've been doing this for over 25 years.  I don't write up official appraisals but will know most and know where to ask for any I don't know offhand.

Kris (173rdABN) is physically closer and I'm sure would/could handle the brokering when time comes.  We work close together and I'm happy to help and dig a bit for him.

Mike @ Law Enforcement Sales is a great guy. Without a doubt the only guy I would use to transfer anything. And if anyone will give an honest assessment it is Mike. Edited by Dolomite_supafly

If he's had these since the 60's I'm hoping for the older gentlemen he has a rare 1919 or any vintage Thompson.  Back in the good ol' days these were sold by mail order or at the hardware store.
