I'm glad Monkeylizard mentioned the Kahr PM9 (or CW9 for less $'s)....

Can't go wrong with a PM9.  It is a great firearm.  CW9 is less money...

Note: the CW9 is not equivalent to the PM9 in size or capacity, the CM9 is.

I understand liking the 26 and it does have some advantages. Fortunately, the shield is so cheap I see no reason most people can't have one also. My last shield cost me $360 OTD new off gunbroker.

I got mine for 353.29 after transfer and background. Then you add in what I spent on the holster and mag pouch and I'm still under what a Glock would cost me new.

I love my 19 but the Shield is an awesome carry gun.  For me the 26 is just too fat and does not feel good in my hand.  Both Glock and S&W make great guns.  It boils down to a matter of choice.  I would love to have a fully auto Travar mini  LOL

Odd man out I guess, I'm wishing I would have just spent the money and got the G26 instead. I prefer the Glock trigger, the thickness and capacity of the G26 over my Sheild. Good little gun but I personally would be happier with the Glock.
