Best Ad blocker for WIN10/EDGE?

Anyone have a proven ad blocker for Edge in Windows 10?

I want something that is easily turned ON/Off, and easily uninstalled if needed.

Free would be good, but I would pay a reasonable fee if it has something to offer the free ones don’t. Try before you buy with full functionality would be a requirement for anything that costs.

As far as I know, Edge does not support extensions at the present time.  The Ad Blocker folks say soon.

I've been using this for a few months. I'd even forgotten it was there. It does a good job. You can pause it anytime you want. You can pay, or not pay as you choose to do.

I've used Ad Block for a few years. Works great in Chrome. Have not tried Edge as of yet. I am spoiled with some of my Chrome extensions.

I have tried Edge-key word being tried-I don't much care for Edge-too buggy on my PC

You can still run InnerdnetExploder on Win10.  And AdBlock Plus works on it.  Running this right now.

 

"C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe" is just not default by WIN10 in MicroSlop's preference to Edge

Why not just switch to Chrome? I use AdBlock. I tried Edge when it first came out, then set my default browser to Chrome and never looked back. I'll take another look at Edge when it's been out for a year or so.

Google for "no ad hosts file". You'll discover a method I use on all my PC's to block all sorts of ads and bad web sites. It's a setting that is computer wide and works on every program that connects to the internet.

I use Edge frequently when and I like some of it's features, especially the Reading View when I'm reading news, sports hunting stories etc. It makes articles much easier to read by stripping away all the garbage on the page. For general browsing though, I use Opera. It's really fast and does a great job for me. It's especially easy to add favorites in Opera and the favorites bar is great.
