don't know, was the Maryville show any good. I was planning on going to the show on Sun.

Not the same. The Lenoir City National Guard Armory show is the twice yearly Smoky mountain gun Collectors Association show, a collectors show. It is December 13 & 14, Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday form 9 a.m. until 4 p.m.

All those folks who complain about jerky and non-gun crap at shows should support this show. Association rules state guns, premium knives (whatever that is) and related items ONLY.

Do you have to be a member of the SMGCA to go to the show? I used to go to the Ohio GCA shows and you had to be a or with a.

"PREMIUM KNIVES" means none of that crap you get at the flea market from the chinese. also.....no chinese selling crappy knives

while i don't collect knives, i know some of the older ones bring on heck of a price.

i have a friend that's a member of the SMGCA and it's just like spuds said. FABULOUS collectors guns and couple years back guy had the largest cap gun display i've ever seen. while that doesn't sound like much, check out what some of those cap guns bring. you won't trade a N.I.B. hi point for one.

just an all around good show that needs all the support it can get. just don't expect ak's and ps90's laying all over. I'll be there saturday and will give a report saturday evening.

Being a collectors show you guys think there will be many kel-tecs? Im looking to maybe pick up a new pf9. If not, anyone know a dealer around here who stocks many kel-tecs?

Last time I was at Coal Creek, I noticed seemed like whole top case full of .32/3ATs and whatnot, maybe he's got a pf9 or two around, too. I'd sure try there first.

West End Pawn (Bearden) usually has a pf9 and p11 around, too, but they are MSRP or more. Only thing they are dealer for new is Kel-Tec and Hi-Point!

Maybe Frontier over toward Kingston.

Maybe Randy's Guns n Knives in Fountain City. As a newbie, I got one good and one raw deal there.

Who am I leavin' out around here?

Oh yeah, Gander Mountain, but gird yer loins (and wallet) :-)

I've been very happy with Frontiers selection, prices, inventory, and customer service the last couple times I've been in there. All that and the free fountain beverage of your choice, how could you go wrong? :stare:

Guns and More doesn't have much selection right now as I think they may finally be going under after the new location hasn't panned out, but its a great place to order from or do transfers through.

I've heard the Predator Custom Shop may have some inventory and does special orders now too.

You can try WD Sporting Goods on Alcoa Hwy too.
