First let me say thank you to David and TGO for allowing me to post this information. The help is much appreciated.

I'm posting today to invite all of you to join me in the Music City Chapter of Safari Club International.

If you aren't familiar with the organization, think of us as NRA for hunters with a little Ducks Unlimited thrown in the mix. Our mission is very simple: Protect hunters rights, help conserve wildlife and support our local community.

SCI is a US based organization and despite the name, most of our efforts are focused on domestic legislation and conservation. You can learn more at the website: https://www.safariclub.org

If you are interested in protecting your rights as a hunter, this is the organization for you. No other group does more to ensure that our hunting legacy will be here for generations to come.

The Music City Chapter is brand new and we'll be having our first general membership meeting on March 14th at Carraba's in Green Hills. Come join us and learn more about our mission.

Then on April 7th, we'll be hosting our first Banquet and Auction. I'm proud and excited to announce that our guest speaker will be the world famous author, big game hunter and star of "The Boddington Experience": Craig Boddington. Craig is (in my opinion) the greatest outdoor writer working today.

We also have some great auction items up for bid including a Blaser Professional R8 in .300 win mag, a Kimber Mountain Ascent in .308 as well as some really great hunts, fishing trips and much more. It's a fantastic opportunity to pick up some bargains and help out a good cause.

You can join up, buy banquet tickets and review the auction items at our website: Musiccitysci.org

If you have questions, need more information or prefer to sign up offline, just PM me here or email me at chis.west@musiccitysci.org and I'll get you taken care of.

Thanks,

Chris West

Director

Music City Chapter, SCI

Great. I don't get to hunt as much as I would like, but will join and do what I can. I have at least one friend who will probably join.

No need to be a member to attend either the meeting or the banquet.

Although you do have to buy a ticket to come to the banquet.

I've just posted a ton of new hunts for our auction. This is a great opportunity to get a bargain on the hunt of a lifetime. We've got a cape buffalo hunt in South Africa, Red Stag in New Zealand, Dove in Argentina, Fishing in Alaska and much much more. Check out MusicCitySCI.org and click on the banquet link for details. Come join us... tickets are only $75 and include a fantastic meal at the Richland Country Club.

Perhaps even more relevant for this group are the guns we are auctioning. So far, we've got a Blaser R8 in .300 Win Mag, Kimber Mountain Ascent in .308 and a Kimber Stainless Ultra Carry II in .45 ACP. There should be a few more in the next week or so, I'm just waiting on confirmation.
