300 blackout headspace gauges.

My parts should be in this week for my 300 blackout build. Does anyone around nashville have a set of go or no go gauges? Or know a gunsmith in the area that could checked it out for me?

What are you setting the headspace on?

If it is for an AR I would not worry about it unless you bought the cheapest parts out there but even that doesn't guarantee it will be out of spec.

You cannot really adjust the headspace on an AR after the barrel extension is in place and the gas port drilled. It can be done but it will be a hack job when finished.

Personally I would just shoot it.

I will say you need an adjustable gas block with that setup. Nothing wrong with that setup, it is the most reliable, but if you shoot supers with that setup it will be majorly over gassed.

If you are not going to be switching a lot most any adjustable gas block will work. If you are going to switch back and forth a lot Micro MOA makes a very nice adjustable block but it is expensive. I use gas blocks from BTE, they make a micro gas block that is adjustable.
