To submit Carry Permit papers, do you need to go to your county's DMV or can you go to any county's DMV? I figure perhaps the Lavergne DMV would be less crowded than the Nashville one.

Thanks!

I did mine in Tullahoma and live in Gladeville (Wilson County).

Make sure you take your Birth Certificate or passport.

I'm in Williamson County and went to Nashville since my local full-service is closed on Mondays.

Do watch out for the list of locations for printing, the sheet they gave me was seriously way out of date.

I did mine in Nash & live in Mt. Juliet. You can go to any DMV as far as I know as long as they do the HCP paperwork there. Not all DMV,s accept them anymore. The 1 in Lavargne does.

You can go anywhere. A friend of mine went to Fayetteville because they send you from the DMV across the street to the SO for prints. One stop shopping. :D

I submitted my HCP application at LaVergne. I had a very long wait. It may have been because it was on a Monday when the Murfreesboro location is closed. I hope you have better luck.

When my wife got hers, we went to the Nashville DMV on Centennial and the parking lot was full. Went to Springfield and were in/out in 10 minutes.
