Stages will be fun and increasingly tighter as we prepare our shooters for the upcoming Sanctioned matches.

New, Safe shooters always welcome.
NFC welcome, so bring the race gun if you wish.

Had my first real range time with the Shadow this weekend.  

 

Slow and methodical on my shots and I couldn't believe the accuracy of the gun.  

 

At 10 yards you can drill out the center of a target.  Maybe no big deal for you pros, but I've never had a gun capable of this. (and I probably wasn't capable either until recently.

 

Now to turn accuracy into speed + accuracy.

Just keep working on the accuracy.  Once you start getting "most accurate" at the matches, start increasing the speed.

I joined these folks last night for my first time shooting in this format. It was a lot of fun. If you are on the fence about going, go ahead and get off of it and go. There were of all types and experience levels. And aside from some good jokes made about some really hot reloads being used, everyone was very supportive.

If you go a little too heavy on oil does that result in the fireballs? I know I had too much hoppes on the slide last night.

I'm careful to wipe the barrel down real well and not leave too much oil in it.
