Knoxville Chilhowee Show 20 & 21

I'm going to Knoxville tomorrow, but won't be at the show. I tend to prefer the Expo shows over the ones at Chilhowee anyway.

 

On a side note... WBIR news was talking recently about protesters showing up at the Chilhowee show last month & probably more this month to try to get the show banned. Did anyone even notice them there last month?

Well dang, that was $2 I could have spent on Chinese socks ,lol.

Pretty crowded, we were there from 10 till 12. As usual the tables were ridiculous. $139 stripped Anderson lower and a box of mini mags for $28. Did pick up a lnib Shield 40 with talon grips, 5 mags, and apex trigger for $350.

Just got back from the show.  First one I've been to a while and apparently haven't missed much.  Hung out with Fujimo for a bit and visited with David the reloading king (dlm37015).  He's got plenty of pistol powders at great prices if anyone's looking.

 

Didn't really see anything more, or less, than a typical Chilhowee show.  Still lots of people with, uh, girth issues, clogging up the aisles and the tell-tale smells of funk that cannot be escaped quickly.  I probably stunk myself but I only shower AFTER a show there, not before.

 

 

I left with a pound of W231 and a half pound of high-dollar, but very tasty, beef jerkey.
