Worth the Wait

I collect FNH pistols and rifles and I have been looking for a dealer local to the nashville area that will price FN reasonable. I have been working on collecting all the New FNP's they have out now. Tonight I walk into, get this of all places to get a deal !!! BASS PRO SHOP ! I have been chasin' down a FNP40 and FNP9 for about 2 months trying to get under $480 which was the best price I could find and that was on an auction site out of state. anyways I walk into this place and they have it listed for $469.00 just curious to see if they wheel and deal any and since ive bought 3 guns in the past 2 months from them I asked what was the best price on the FNP40 and he said $429.00 I dropped the cash on the spot. For a gun thats hard to find under 500 that is a freakin deal. They were so crowded as much as any guns shop I have seen and they had 6 people in front of me doing checks. My question is do they buy that much better or are they not taking advantage of us while this Obama Mania is going on? I guess they have become my gun dealer of choice. When none of this was going on the dealers seemed to be begging for business and we bought at the same palces all the time now you ask what the best price is and they say your looking at it and the stuff is marked up way more then normal. Is the market that bad because 3 of my friends that work for Manufact. companies tell me there cost hasnt changed in the last 4 months so it must be your dealers. What happens when this all passes do the same guys that say hey this is the best I will do for you loss business from the guys that were faithful to them when it wasnt so good.

I understand we have a few dealers here can you guns explain. I spend alot on my sport and hobby and have yet to find a dealer that will stay consistant. Just doesnt sit well. I have spend $13,234.98 in the past 4 months on guns, ammo and reloading stuff and because I cant find one dealer that will be loyal back I have to look all over before I buy so I dont get screwed.

Anyways off the soap box I go but seriously is there any gun shops in Middle TN or the area Loyal Back to the customer or is this a one way street?

It might be a bit of a drive for you, but I've bought several firearms from Guns and Leather in Greenbriar over the past 2yrs and I've always been treated well by their staff. I was in their a few weeks ago picking up a transfer and, although crowded, I didn't see any of the "Obama Markup Mania" that has been so prevalent as of late.
