Plastics and composite stocks?

Anyone ever start thinking on composite molds for bull-pup designs?

Like possibly what Bushmaster did with that ugly one they had? Was seriously thinking on making a stock for an FN FS2000 trying to match the ergo-dynamics of a TAVOR C. Any direction or help would be appreciated. :)

Let it go, man. :)

It's going to be an intense up-hill battle to get one made. You'll need a lot of free time, solid-modeling software, a good dial caliper, and something to take all of your measurements from, like a replica (OR a trip to Israel to lay your hands on the real deal).

Anywho, if you were able to have the molds manufactured for one, I'm sure there would be a market for the product.

I have experience w/ solid-modeling software, so if you get serious about it, drop me a line I'd be glad to help.

Canada is a hell of a lot closer. :) They're legal to import and own up there. Which I'm sure eats away at Charles' soul... thus, why I keep bringing it up.

Ah, I see. Not too familiar w/ the Tavor.

I love the compact and craddle of a bull-pup. If the FN had a better feel and grip than it would probably be a differant story. The forward ejection is a nice change too.

Crap... mind just went totally blank... there's a new bullpup getting ready to hit the market, but can't remember who makes it now. Saw it a week or two ago and immediately thought it was something you'd be interested in.

Honestly can't recall now... only thing coming to mind is Magpul's PDR... but I know that's not it (although having one of those would be badass also). Oh well. I'll post it or PM it to you, if I remember. Getting old sucks. lol

That's the hideous abomination that was posted here recently, isn't it? :) If so, no, that wasn't it.

I think that was the new HS-2000 bullpup. Who knows? All bullpups are butt-ugly. :)
