I got a Rasheed for Valentine's Day

I was the lucky winner of this Egyptian Rasheed off gunbroker, and I picked it up today!   Just need a sling, and then a Hakim to go with it

I've had two.  Regret selling both of them.  They are a fine rifle.  MUCH better than the Simonov in my opinion.  AND, they use the same chargers.  I actually had more luck loading the Rasheed with a charger than the SKS.  Those magazines are like the magazine on the short magazine Lee Enfeild in that they are removable but never meant to be detachable.  It's such easier to make a stamped magazine than complicated integral magazines.  That's why they have that toggle lock to keep the magazine in place.

Yes, SKS stripper clips.

Does anybody know why the barrel is threaded?     I'm also pleasantly surprised that the front sight is fully adjustable!

Should be a left handed 14x1.0
Pretty much any AK muzzle device.
I think you should find one of the longer Tabuk style flash hiders. That would look cool.
