Intense Georgia Police Chase

I want my 15 minutes back.  Seriously, that could have been a lot worse, considering the high speed through town.

I'm really surprised some innocents didn't get killed during all that. I thought that's why God made hellicopters and airplanes. Glad they got him... hope he's still in jail.

Makes me want to test drive a Tundra! :dirty:

I was actually surprised that the Tundra didn't wipe out in some of those turns at that rate of speed...sucker held the road pretty well lol

What a cluster.

They're very fortunate no one was killed.

You saw it that way too? :dropjaw:

Why did they wait until he got into town to curb him?

Why did they leave the first intersection he came to wide open?  The first 4 to 5 minutes of the chase they had little or no on coming traffic and he even slowed down to 45 mph and they tried no TIP maneuvers.  Not until they got into a congested area do they attempt it.  It's easy to arm chair quarter back a replay but I saw several missed opportunities to end this sooner.

I think they had to wait for the right LEO to join the chase. It appeared to me that once that silver car showed up he was the guy going to take the guy down with the TIP execution. The guy with the video did have a faster car but never try to get along side the truck............jmho. I also think they should have taken the bad guy down while they were out in the country rather than wait till he got in town.......jmho

I was wondering the exact same thing...could have done it on the back roads without having to block traffic at every light etc to make sure he didn't kill somebody. Spin him on a back road and if he hits a tree or something so be it...shouldn't have been running from the cops.

Was that a man-faced fish tattoo on his neck?

That's what it looks like to me. I'm guessing he was either drunk or high when he got that thinking it was a good idea.

Or maybe he's a big Don Knotts fan?

Ok, I know some of you guys won't get it, but it's funny. Take my word for it.

At one point when the car that finally turned him got to the front, you could hear a call on the radio asking for anyone who was certified to do a pit maneuver to come to the front to help. I assume the grey cruiser was the first one who could legally do a pit maneuver.

I was wondering why the car who had the camera did lay down a spike strip on that narrow road and end it there.
