Not to disparage the brand but I recently learned that Hi-Point Firearms (HPA) has a .380 ACP rendition of their little carbine. http://hi-pointfirearms.com/Hi-Point-carbines/380ACP_carbine_blk.html

So for those of you just itching to add a .380 ACP long gun counterpart to match up with your .380 ACP pocket gat now you have an excuse. I have now ideal how long this things been out or why a .380 ACP carbine would be a good ideal but it is what it is.

If you make it someone will buy it? In my opinion it seems to serve no other real use, unless your simply a 380 fan....

It is no lighter or smaller than the 9 mm version and I can't imagine that the 9 mm has much if any recoil to speak of...

I guess if you only wanted one caliber in the house and you already had a .380 pocket gun this would make some sense?  I can't think of any other reason I would buy this over the 9mm
