Some people deserve to suffer slowly for their crimes.

I agree with your comments about Hooters for the same reasons.  In short, women deserve better than being objectified.

Women don't have to work at Hooters or any other job that objectifies them. One woman's objectification is another's empowerment. I've known strippers that get off on the power over men and the money. This has nothing to do with any particular time period where family was more or less important(Comm's post), it appeals to man's sexual appetite and that is as old as the dirt we walk on...

It's not like in the 20s guys weren't looking at smut and cheating on their wives.

Growing up in Mt. Juliet and moving back here this past year has been odd.  The town has tripled in size since I left.  So basically 2/3 of the population is a bunch of pricks that are not from here but want to change the way things have been done here forever, not to mention that they can't drive.  If I could take a cane to these people for what I experience on a daily basis in stores and in traffic my arm would be worn out.

I agree. No one forces them to work there. And whenever one quits there's another waiting to take their place.

I lump them in with any other "gimmick" business where a so called clever theme runs throughout the place in order to sell you something sub par.
