Hey guys,

I'm in the Franklin area and am curious if there are any ranges in the Nashville area that allow you to shoot at targets with a shotgun....  I'm interested in buying one to use for home defense, but it seems that aside from patterning there aren't really options.

I have had a lot of fun in the shotgun pit at OK Corral! Laptops, guitars, toaster, printer... just tons of fun! Of course, bring a big ol' box to haul away any mess you make. :-)

Thanks guys!!!  So you basically just bring whatever you want to shoot and wait your turn?

Drive out there, take your Toys, pay your 5 bucks, and shoot all day until sundown... and clean up your mess. I don't recommend shooting tannerite in the shotgun/hi power pit, though... it's a little to close for comfort.

Closer to Franklin is CHMR on owl hollow Rd. I haven't been in a while, but I am pretty sure he allows them still. You do have to join, but the cost is reasonable for a year.
