The Navy doesn't get into scraps on land. It just throws jarheads at them until the Army gets off it's ass.

I can't tell you how many mission we had to pick up in Bosnia because the Zoomies pulled a stress card, saftey stand down, or just needed a nap! It's gotten so bad that the DoD is giving the Marines their own AC-130s becuase you guy can't be on station on time or past diner time. Don't even get me started on the waste of training that are the infamous PJs.

BTW, it was the Marines that found and resuced O'Grady's dumb ass.

Um... I was joking, like the rest of the people in this thread. Someone got their panties in a nice lil' twist.

And I'll give you $20 if you go tell one of those PJ's that they're a waste of time and training. And another $20 to clean yourself up afterward. It would be worth it to see you get your ass kicked by one of those "skinny lil kids" with floaties and flippers on.

You do realize that PJ /TACP train with recon, seals, rangers, etc during their pipeline right? So you pretty much bashed every branch out their with your comments. And most PJs that I've actually encountered could benchpress a Honda and feel right at home in the trenches with the grunts. They're not the HS swim team guys that you might think.

I to have had interactions with PJs. I never said their training was bad or wrong. But their doctine is counter productive. Fall back at first contact! They are not allowed to engauge to extract. Just enough to protect their bird and themselves. And yes this is from their mouths and they don't like it.

So back to my comment, if they aren't allowed to use it them yes the training is wasted.
