It's also rumored that the Vityaz is in country and either will be made here or some made it through import before BO's EO. ?

Here's a cool one that I didn't know existed until a few minutes ago (hate gunbroker, always come off there wanting to buy more toys)

Friend of mine in CA of all places has a set of Calicos and highly recommends them. They have their own idiosyncrasies, but are a a cool weapon nonetheless.

I wouldn't imagine they are still below Comms budget, though IIRC they weren't much higher.

High cyclical rate, low felt recoil, bottom ejection... Lot to love. Having to load and then charge the spring for 50 and 100 round mags sucks though, as does their spring issue with loving fully loaded mags fully charged under tension.

Super neat, but I personally think Calico got about 1/2 way through designing the perfect PCP, then threw it to market.

I know I'm late to this thread, but here goes. I have an AR9. I traded one of my 556 uppers for it. It is the most fun and used gun in my safe now. I reload 9's on my Dillon 550 and use a 124gr cast boolit that I cast myself. So it costs very little to keep it fed. It has been 100% reliable with my reloads. It is the Colt mag version using a mag block in a standard AR lower. Bolt does not lock back on last round, although the block is set up to. I have tried using a modified Uzi mag, but it has not been all that reliable.

I am going to get a Lula Loader for the Colt mags though.

The Mag lula for the Colt style mags is a Must! I have one and it is an amazing tool.

Damn It Guys!

All of this talk of 9mm ARs got me so fired up I'm going to build another spare upper using the Kaw Valley Precision 8.5" Barrel.

A buddy of mine showed me his new Yankee hill 9mm ar pistol today. Looked pretty well built and would make a good candidate for an sbr. Took Uzi mags which are cheap and plentiful.

ADCO does a 4.5" barrel that's really nice, too.... Edited by dcloudy777

Unless something has changed, matrix arms is a branch of matrix aerospace . I own several ar lowers made by matrix aerospace and they are great! They make lowers for ruger and a few other companies. My favorite lgs is about 100 yards down the street from a matrix aerospace distributor so he carries a lot of their products.
