Has anyone seen the story about a new slug that is supposed to expand like a hollow point? Less pen. than a normal slug, with a larger wound. Should brass hull. Looks interesting but costly. You can read about it at alloutdoors.com or on Jan Morgan face book page.

The ones on the left are 525 gran Lyman slug shot into sand, expanded to double.

Center are .690 round ball shotgun load.

The flat ones are recovered after hitting a AR500 plate.

I can cast and reload for less than 20 cents a round.

The lyman air gun pellet stule can be very accurate. I was able to hot a steel plate in a class at 150 yards consistantly. I was dhooting them through a 870 with rifle sights and a modified tube.
