My first AR. I just put on my new flip up rear. I have a Bushnell Holosight thats gonna sit in front of that. Just curious should I sight it in without the Bushnell on it. Then match up the Bushnell afterwards. probably a stupid question just wanted to do it the easiest way first time around. Or would it be easier the pther way around?

Thanks

Cool, those are very nice. I am by no means the AR guru as I have just been bitten by the bug in the last several months but I'd do the iron sights first, then sight in the Holo. This is how we did my buddies Eotech.

It doesn't really matter, as long as your using the iron sights to sight in the iron sights and the optics to sight in the optics.

Thats what I figured its just the first I've owned. I'll probably do it with out the Holo then just tune that in. Been trying like crazy to get out and shoot it.

Before we went to Iraq, we sighted in the iron sights, then moved the red dot reticle until it sat on the front post, gets you damn close.
