Something wicked this way comes, from Kimber.

If manufacturers wanted to make a real game changer, they'd focus less on developing new platforms and more on making a quality product in lines they already are tooled for. Seems like half the new guns you read about have problems.

It's gonna be a revolver in .40 S&W and even though you'll never tell us....you will buy one.

All it needs is a red dot and itll be all three things in a pistol I hate all in one.

Id buy one only to slag it.

I was really hoping this was going to be a plasma rifle in the 40 watt range.

I was seriously just thinking about this after the "game changer" comment.

We have come so far in firearms design that it will take something significant to be a "game changer ". Things like self contained cartridges, smokeless powder, magazine fed semi autos, polymer frames, double action triggers and later striker fired triggers, those were game changers. I'm thinking to improve much now, we will need something like caseless ammo, laser or plasma weapons, handheld rail guns, etc to be true game changers like we had in the past.

I wouldn't call it a game changer but in .45acp I'm interested nonetheless.

Charter Arms already has both calibers in about as small a revolver as possible, so no "game changer" here.

I had no problems with my Kimber Warrior but I saw these comments elsewhere and chuckled...

"And with that the legendary reliability of the revolver was laid to rest."

"The the reliability of a Taurus, with the looks of a Smith & Wesson, for three-times the price."

I remember when Kimber 1911s were sought after. I've had mine for over 10 years now without any problems. Whenever the name Kimber pops up now, it seems it is to ridicule them for having unreliable weapons. Are they really as unreliable as people make them out to be? Did I just get lucky with mine?

I love mine and so has everyone that I've let shoot it.  Guess I got lucky too.  Never a hiccup out of it either.

Same here with my 1911, must of purchased one of the rare good ones.

But honestly, besides my Jennings .22, none of my firearms have ever given me any issues.  Either I must be the luckiest gun owner, or some of these complaints are user created issues.  Even with my Jennings, all I have to do is feed it proper ammo...if and when it leaves the safe that is.  I am not much of a revolver enthusiast, I only own a BP and a Ruger BH .44, so I doubt I will look for one and unless I stumble across a good deal on one then I won't own one but its not due to the brand.
