Moving from Indiana to Murfreesboro Area

Hello from the frozen north...been traveling back and forth for the past several weeks.  Finding a decent priced 3 Bed room has been the biggest challenge so far (if anyone knows of any rental homes within 30 mins of Murfressboro please PM me )

 

Long time shooter, reloader and stamp collector...hoping to add hunting to this list (Indiana is horrible to try and hunt, private land too expensive and public land is a shooting gallery) so haven't been able to hunt in near 20 years...not even sure I remember how...LOL.

 

Looking forward to meeting like mind folks and getting to know everyone here.

Welcome to the group. There is quite a bit of low traffic public land here if you do a little research and are willing to make a hike sometimes

If you're looking for a cheaper area to live that's about 30 minutes from Murfreesboro, I'd suggest going south on Highway 231 towards Shelbyville, or east on 24 towards Manchester. Maybe even take highway 70 towards Woodbury.

What TripleDigitRide said.  I live in Coffee County (near Manchester) and its a lot cheaper and about 30 minutes to the Boro if you're on that side of the county and 45 if on the other side.   Welcome to Middle Tennessee

Yes, I have been looking in the Manchester area currently and areas East and West of Murfressboro.  Costs are too high for me any closer.  Keep the ideas and locations coming I am checking them off as I go.
