Need New IPDA Gun

So I've fallen in love with IDPA and shoot the CCP class with my Springfield XD Mod.2 9mm.

I'm not loaded so I can only buy one gun right now.

I'm considering the following

1. CZ SP 01 Shadow
2. Springfield XDM 5.25 comp model
3. Colt Gold Cup 1911

The first two I would shoot SSP. The third would be CDP.

That Gold Cup is a bucket list gun but I'm just not sure it makes much sense. I'd never carry it. It would be a safe queen and Comp gun only. I mean doesn't every man have to own at least one 1911.

It a dilemma because I also love that CZ and the Springfield which would shoot most like my carry weapon but I hear the trigger stinks so that would jump the gun up to around $800. I think at that point I'd pick up the CZ or the Colt.

I'm also looking for a different caliber gun but again that doesn't make much sense. I've selected 9mm as my go to caliber by a different feel / experience for IDPA and range time is the allure.

Any other IDPA gun suggestions?

PS. I HATE GLOCKS. Great guns but just not for me. I don't like the grip and feel.

I'm trying to make it Wednesday. I was all suited up last week when my boss called! Bill is also sending me four new mag holders and a new holster! Pumped about getting those.

I don't reload now, but it's something I'm certain to get into in the future.  Need more guns first!  When I do start reloading, it will cost me a pretty penny to get setup.  I don't want to buy cheap reloading gear only to have to replace it in the near future.  I know nothing about reloading, but I would assume a good quality reloading press would last a lifetime vs. buying a cheap model.

My nod goes to the CZ out of your three choices, but if you want to try a 1911, I'll have my Range Officer there.

I owned a Gold Cup, it was a nice Bullseye gun, but sold it after I quit that sport. I bought a Springfield 1911 after that, and two more once I jumped into IDPA with both feet. Ya might say I'm partial to Springfields, they run well for me and won't break the bank like the upper end 1911s.

M&P9L

M&P Pro 5" if the L is hard to find.......do they even make them anymore?

Then dip it in Apex goodness.

CDP gets real expensive real quick and a gun that isn't "slicked" up will just scream for you to throw more money at it. I have a Jeep I know these things
