It's still in line with Nashville Armory's membership prices but I would never consider their's either.  Pay as you go works for me.

Yeah, $450 to have a membership that can be used on weekends?  Forget that.

The base membership only works Monday through Friday 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.

The base membership is only 279.  The 450 membership can shoot on the weekends.

I was holding out for a decent membership deal but no dice. If you have a weird job (or no job) then the base rate looks great.  But honestly, I can't see how I could ever make the 4pm M-F checking deadline--it's simply not workable.

Best of luck to them, but with those prices and decentralized location I'll likely never be tempted to set foot in there.

They wouldn't let me shoot Tula 7.62x39 in there saying it had steel core.. They'd only let me shoot their surplus corrosive ####.

Wow!  They actually asked to inspect your ammo?!

I can understand them (verbally) asking you to confirm that you didn't have any tracer/AP/explosive ammo...but they actually wanted to see it? Just wow. Did you argue with them about the claim that Tula has a "steel core"?

You need to average about 1.5 visits per month before the full membership makes sense. At $20-30 a pop +tax, it doesn't take long for the pay-as-you-go visits to add up.

The guy was young and had no idea. He even went in the back to ask someone and they "confirmed" steel core. It was a pick your battles moment.

Tula is not steel core in any way, shape or form.  It does however have a bi-metal jacket that attracts a magnet.  Matter of fact "steel core" 7.63x39 is fairly rare now...it was banned from importation years ago.

I would expect a gun store to know this but I know that's asking a lot.

Not sure, imported by Century. It's such a pain to clean corrosive.. At least, in my mind.
