"Location" in trading forum?

Not trying to dig up the closed thread, just asking for clarification of something I must be too blind to see.

One of the mods said that the seller's location is shown on the right hand side under their name when viewing an ad, but I don't see it?

If someone can point me in the right direction to look - I'd be very thankful

The software was just upgraded. Give me some time to get the customizations added back in.

Upon further review, it seems that the location field is showing properly. It is contingent upon the member having their location specified in their vbulletin member profile, however. So if a member doesn't have a location specified, the listing won't either.

I can add an optional field for "Item location" if that makes any sense.

It would be nice - since it seems quite a few users fail to fill out their profile info to include location.

Well, it would be much nicer if everyone filled out their location. The only scenario I can come up with for needing an "item location" field would be if someone was selling something that they didn't have AT their location. Which seems kind of silly.

Ability to force the location field to be filled out, via software rules, upon registering? Not that it would help correct those already void... but would at least force the new registrants to fill it out.

Yeah, I made that change a few minutes ago. If people enter BS information into that field, I'll just delete their account and they can try over and do it right the next time. My patience with people who want to be immature and put things like "Buttholeville, TN" in their location is absolutely non-existent.
