Gunsmith work in Nashville area

Recommended Posts

Posted (edited)
I got an older Rem 700 off gun broker and wanted to have a gunsmith look it over before take it out. I also was going to get a Scope mounted (would do it myself but it has a BDC reticle and I was reading if its not perfectly level it can throw it off pretty good) as well as get a grind to fit recoil put on it. Anyone have any recommendations for a gunsmith to do this work? Ive read Jeff Wall at G and L in Greenbriar does good work as well as Sam at Complete Gun in Gallatin. Ive frequented Franklin Gun shop but haven't read any good nor bad reviews on their gunsmiths work. Its not ground breaking stuff I'm needing done but I want the work done right and done well. Thanks for any input Edited by rhill14

Either Jeff at G&L or Sam Hoster in Gallatin. These are my go to guys for any needed work. You can't go wrong with either one.

Distance from me is about the same for both, but since I like to combine trips and errands to save money( retired and fixed income nowadays), I usually go to Sam Hoster. That way if I have any money left, I can do my Sam's Club shopping in Hendersonville on the way back. Edited by hipower
