Where are you. The last couple I went to last year was a waste of time. I can get stuff at Hero Gear better and closer. Thats my opinion though. Heard it was a mad house last month.

West Tn..... Where is this Hero Gear at?

Hero gear is in winchester, and more worthy of the ride than the nashville show, and I wouldn't drive 2 hours to go the nashville show, its not worth it. The smyrna show on the other hand...

THe Nashville Fair Grounds gun show is like a turkish bazaar for cheap ass knives and beef jerky. If you consolidated the guns and ammo and removed all the garbage air soft and other rubbish, you might fill one aisle.

It was jam packed... I came home only with ammo. The things that people were walking around with were priced way too high IMO.

I will go again this weekend just because I will be at the Civil War show anyways.

Well, I have to admit, theres not a lot of guns, but i've walked out of that show with a rock island .45, a glock 17, an ak pistol, and a pa-63 on various occasions, ranging from decent deals, to smoking deals.

lately everyone at the shows seem to be snatching up AR and AK parts and ammo. atleast that what i saw when i went to the last few shows. as far as super cool deals.... not very many lately. :D

I have gone various times and it depends what your looking for. If your looking to try out a bunch of different holsters, gun cases. knives and bags this is great. I like seeing the products in my hands versus a picture in a magazine.

I purchased my 1911 there and it was $100.00 cheaper than any of my local gun shops.

So are you saying if I showed up there this weekend with a backpack of AK47 30rd mags and a "For Sale" sign - I'd come home with an empty backpack and a wad of cash?

I have been to gun shows in the past, however I have never tried to sell anything.

How does one go about selling a rifle at a show, is that for vendors only? Or can I walk around with it? I have an extra Tantal I need to sell to fund a GSG5. With Jan 20 approaching I wonder if I would have a good chance of letting go of the AK at the show?

how much you selling it for outta curiousity....? when you walk into the show, they ask for your ticket and if you have any weapons with you. you tell them yes. they check if its unloaded then zip tie it up. you can then walk around and either try to trade/sell to venders, or sell to a private owner. i'd say you have a pretty good chance if your price is right. i need me an ak myself but the price for them has jacked up so much that i cant even get myself to spend that much for one now...

Went to this show today. Biggest crowd I have ever seen at Goodman, Pope, or RK show in the Nashville area. Had to wait to get close enough to see vendor's goods at every table. Even saw people waiting in line to get a spot to sit and fill out paper work.

I bought a very nice M1 Garrand. $550

I am not a price expert, by any means, but the prices there on the long guns were high. I am assuming it's the same with the pistols. I was a little disappointed.

I did pick up a speed loader for $10.

I saw one guy with decent prices. The rest were high.

I saw a couple of Bersa Thunders for $300+

$4-500 for S&W .38 specials.

One guy was trying to sell a Finnish Nagant rifle for about $1200. And a Russian Sniper for $800.
