The 2008 Legislative session has begun...

That is old and it was shot down last year...next session doesn't start till around Jan 13th, 2009. If a bill doesn't get passed in the year it is introduced...it is dead at least for the rest of that year.

Actually TN runs two year sessions, and as long as a bill isn't "killed", it can roll over to the second half of the term and would still be "alive".

Both the TN bills listed appear to have been from the last session, and will have to be reintroduced once session opens.

Yes this is old....it is from last session, it was defeated, it would have to be re-introduced in the new session in 2009, it is also has been posted several times in the last few weeks.
