Best Christmas present ever

Me and my dad have talked on and off about a setup to shoot steel that we needed to build for the last year. Well, tonight when we opened presents I got a note inside a box saying "be careful what you wish for". Then we walk out to his shop and I find this! Seriously, I think this is the best present I've ever gotten. I would have never imagined he would build this.

That's a nice set up!

Hate to be a buzz-kill but the first time a chain is hit, and it will be, you'll be cussing it.

If you're a fixed- sight handgun enthusiast put your sights a bit low.. (Just fooling, you know) Congrats! Hope you get a lot of pleasure from them.. Your Dad or Father-in-law put a lot of thought & craft into your gift ! Salutations for all concerned !!

Very nice.  This may inspire me to build a similar one, but one that is concreted into the ground.

What gauge metal are the targets?
I'm stealing his idea!

Those are all 1/2" AR500 plates except for the two small round ones on top and the one on the very left. Those are just 3/8" mild steel for rimfire only
