Bought a S&W M&P 15-22 a week before Christmas for myself. Bud's had it on sale for $369. It was the model that is usually $499 so I couldn't pass it up.

I picked up a Sig P 227R last week. Does that count? I'm anxious to go shoot it.

 

Post a range report please. I've never been a huge Sig fan but I really like the p227. I love my G21 but I've been itching to get another full size .45

 

Do you plan on dropping $45 to get one of the 14 round mags they make for the Sig?

Will do. I am not sure about the mags. I am comfortable with 11 rounds of .45. Most likely will continue to carry my G29 most of the time. I sold my G21 to fund this. I've always like Sig, wanted a .45 but didn't want the SAO 220, for that I'd just get a 1911.

SCCY 9mm stainless over FDE, and added the ArmaLaser. I bought from Classic Firearms on black Friday, for my wife to give me for Christmas :)

 

50 rounds FMJ, started out on target, then group opened up considerably. I wondered what was wrong - then the rear sight fell off.  Otherwise flawless. I reinstalled the sight with some Loctite for good measure. Plan to EDC this once I wring it out with carry ammo.

Very nice. I really like the looks of the fluteless cylinder and the grips. If I recall correctly, those things have a nice trigger.

Congrats to all who gave one or got one. As I was reading I was trying to remember if I ever got a gun for Christmas and don't recall. I have given my kids and grandkids and wife quite a few though, at last count about 12. But who's counting. LOL I must admit I have never had anyone "return" one of my gun gifts.

This year I did get 3 boxes of Federal .45ACP hardball. I'm up to 800 rounds of .45 now, recon it's range time soon.  :)

My wife bought me a Maverick 88 security with the 18.5 inch barrel. Looking forward to breaking that in soon.
