Actually they say that water is a better lubricant then oil as long as there is absolutely no air in it.problem being,you cant seal the system enough to keep air completely out

Remember Duralube?

A friend of my dad's with an old jeep comanche decided to see how long it would run with a bottle of Duralube and filled up the rest of the way with just water... ran great, as long as he topped off the water every so often (boiled off pretty quick). Don't know how many miles he put on it that way, but it certainly worked, and didn't burn any more oil than before once he drained it out and went back to conventional oil.

I wonder if KY would work?

I sure KY would work great...... problem being is its only made to hold up for what,3...maybe 4 minutes before the coefficient of viscosity breaks down
