Though if you can pass muster you can get a non-Resident carry permit . Also , VA also recognizes WV , TX and 2 other states according to the article.

Guess I'd need to renew my non-Resident permit in Virginia next year before it expires.

I don't recall TN allowing these sorts of folks being allowed to get or hold  handgun carry permit.  Are they?

 

It will be interesting to see if any of the states VA no longer recognizes review and change their HCP laws.  If they do it will be a real feather in the VA AG's political cap, "tail wagging the dog."

 

I'm guessing the VA AG is jockeying for a job in the "Clinton" administration.

And I find myself agreeing w/ the writer's conclusion - this is a trial balloon being sent up. Why bother legislating when the people no longer resist executive dictators? Divide and conquer!

Car is loaded handgun only and must be in "container" or "compartment". But it doesn't have to be a locked. Dunno exactly what passes for either though.
