Sounds more like sloppy management to me, doesn't take much to read the rules to operate a particular type of business, but implementing the procedures to follow the rules/laws/guidelines is very time consuming, as well as proving what you're doing is in compliance with the laws/rules/guidelines.

The left will be stumbling all over themselves to get to the mike. It's a shame...they made a decent rifle and piss it all away over stupid business practices. I'm sure the left will make it sound entirely like something different.

So the Feds mandate some dealers sell guns illegally which results in an unknown number of deaths including at least one Anerican and its ok. A manufacturer doesn't stamp serial #' s when directed to do so by some instruction and they are borderline criminal?

Of course, it makes complete sense.

Stay should've left CT long ago, it's karma!

Either the value will go up, or will plummet.

If it plummets it won't really matter to me. I like it enough to keep it until I'm dead and my nephew covets it anyway so I'll pass it on to him.

If it goes up enough then it will matter because I'll sell it and get something else and keep the change.

I'm sure they'll recover nicely with the applicable government mandated financial penalty.

I'm sure they bring nice tax revenue to that wacky state for them to shut em down.

If the new owners are smart, the first thing they should do is find another state and move the company and get the hell out of that whole area of Blue states.............jmho

This originated during the first Obama scare IIRC. They were making bunches of lowers to meet demand and then serializing them as they went out for sale. Something to do with the Fed cost of serializing during manufacture. It was stupid but not intentionally criminal. Trying to meet demand and keep cost down.

The illegal FA sounds like a technicality felony they added on for the case.

Sabre on the other hand was a criminal enterprise.
