Went ahead and picked up one today. Got my M&P 9mm on the 10th and wanted one in 45.

Put 200 rounds of reloads thru it today. Like the 9mm,comfortable and accurate to shoot.

Liking the M&P pistols.

Also fits my Blade-Tech holster for the 9mm.

I've got the M&P compact in 9mm, 12 and 17 rd magazine (w/ the extender, it's very comfortable). LOVE the thing, very happy w/ the purchase. Have put probably 1500 rounds through it so far, only had 1 or 2 that gave troubles ejecting (and that was Walmart Ammo). So far the Speerman has been flawless. Looking at reloading equipment myself, but so far all factory ammo.

I also have the M&P45. I added the Apex Duty/Carrier upgrade kit and trigger pull is excellent. I also have the M&P9 and M&P9c with same spring kits. I sold my Glock 21 Gen4 and bought the M&P45. The M&P45 fits my hand better with small backstrap and thus I shoot with more accuraqcy. The only negative is 10 rd mag in M&P45 vs 13 rd mag in G21.
