Anybody else here go wheelin? I mostly go in Tracy City. I've got an '84 Bonco II with a fuel injected 5.0 full width axles on 38" swampers. I don't have any good pics of it since I finished the full width swap

mines the red one, the camo one is another Bronco II with 37" boggers and the black one is a 4Runner on 44" swampers

I did in Colorado, also in a camo '82 Bronco II.

I miss the rocks and angles.

And, welcome to TGO.

i do it on a 1999 Yamaha Big Bear 350 4x4. its cheaper than a 4wd truck =)

Yes it can be a very expensive hobby.

Here's a couple shots of before the full widths and 38s, It had 33" swampers here

Yeah I used to have a 400 EX, a lot of fun. I didn't do anything really hard mostly just trail riding. But the guys I went with always wanted to hit the hard stuff. It was doable, but a lot harder on a 2wd sport 4 wheeler. I wasn't interested in the harder stuff, so I sold it.

welcome, i just used to go mudding, nothing too serious! used my daily driver, so i couldnt really afford to screw anything up, i still like the mud, but i would get into the rocks!

I used to off-road w/ my stock ass '92 Range Rover, but it started demanding maintenence, so it's in pieces right now, will probably be for sale or trade after christmas sometime.

Heres a pic of my last one. Mad me sick to sell it. If mama can sell her business soon I'm looking to get back in the woods. I live in Tullahoma where in mIMG_2292.jpganchester are you?

I do when I can find some place to go. I just have my daily driver. It's a 94 4x4 toyota extended cab with 31 inch mudders.

MudBugjr- I'm just a few miles from exit 105.

BMcCoy- there is plenty of riding to be done in Tracy City. I know it's kind of a long drive for you, but your more than welcome to come out on one of our rides. We have members in the Club from around Nashville and as far south as Alabama.

DamnLocals.com

There is usually one scheduled ride every month. Our next ride is on Dec. 13th. Our last ride we had a stock Nissan p-up with all terains with us, there is always a bypass around the harder obstacles.

I've got an 86 BII that I'd like to do a little work to, but jeez, I already have more hobbies than I can afford.

I've got a 78 cj-5 jeep with a built 350 chevy engine in it, but it just has factory axles and suspension so just a little mud for me . Dont do the rock thing with it.

Nothing real serious, top is '93 F150, 351, 4wd, true dual glasspack exhaust, rear air shocks, and 32-11.50 all terrain tires. Mostly it just tows my car trailer, and jobs of that nature. Middle is my '99 jeep cherokee classic, 4.0 6 cylinder, brushguard, dynomax muffler, pre cat deleted, and magnaflow cat, with pro comp shocks, and 235-75-15 grabber at2 tires. Mostly its just used for inside storage capacity and light playing. The bottom is the first car I ever owned. 1982 Chevy k10 stepside. 350, th350, rollbar, diamond plate box floor, 31-10.50 tires, and everything on the motor had a nice big edelbrock stamp on it!

I used to do a lot of wheeling. We were at Tellico, Blairsville, Royal Blue, or Windrock about every weekend for a few years. I guess I got kind of burned out and decided to do more shooting, I don't have to lay under my gun every week night to go shooting on Sat. I still have a Dodge Ramcharger 360, 435, 205, 60, 70, 4.56, Detroit's, rear disc's, 39.5 Boggers on Hummer wheels. I guess I should ride more than I do. Not enough time for all my hobbies.

Hey, what's up? Your a member of MTTR, aren't ya?

Yep, that's me. Was actually thinking of coming up and riding with you guys soon.

I had posted on ya'lls forum before, but now the forum is gone. I guess it didn't get enough activity to keep it. Where do ya'll wheel at mostly?

Posted

Lately, the parks: Windrock, Wooly's, WITC, etc.

I took the forum down from lack of legit activity, but TONS of spammers signing up daily. Most of us post over on TOR now.

I used to tool around up on the mountain in a moderate-setup '00 Tacoma on 35s... I'd like to get another one, but I will most likely just get a 4-wheeler ATV since I don't need another vehicle.

Well, since everyone's breaking out pics...

At some point, I'll probably get her lifted and slap some fatter tires on there, but it's not a priority. In fact, the first thing I want to do is swap out the old, tired, anemic 2.9 V6 for a 4.0. Thought about doing the 5.0 swap, but I figure that'll just lead to a long trail of broken driveline components.

By the way, anyone care to guess what I paid for that truck?
