Volunteer Pistol Club IDPA Classifier

Volunteer Pistol Club is holding their IDPA Classifier on the 14th of December. We shoot in Brush Creek TN, which is the other side of Lebanon out I40 E.

Plan on being there around 12:30 if you are interested.

They are also going to setup the 2nd bay for a "normal" IDPA match...you can shoot one or the other...but not both...not enough time.

How many stages would there be for the "normal" match?

Im not sure if they are going to run 2 or 4 stages on the one range. During a "normal: match day they dun two ranges, each with two stages each.

I'm going to guess they will run two stages

From Nashville, take I-40 east to exit 254 (state routes 141/53) The exit is also marked, I believe, for the town of Alexandria, TN. Turn right (south) at stop sign at end of exit ramp, Continue south on state route 53 for four (4) miles. Turn left (east) on Brush Creek Road. Continue east on Brush Creek Road approximately 3/4 mile to 46 Brush Creek Road. Turn right into gated (open) private drive. Follow gravel drive around left side of JMR Gunsmithing building, take left fork in driveway, continue through cedar thicket onto TVA right-of-way. As you travel down hill on TVA right-of-way you will see parking area and beyond parking area, bay one of the range.

Those directions are dead on. If I leave Donelson by 11:45, and stop to get drinks and snacks, I'm still on site standing around shooting the breeze by 12:30.

Brush Creek is a fun place to shoot, casual atmosphere, pretty setting, and a range of abilities. Some folks who are pretty handy with wheel guns shoot there.
