What did you do on Thanksgiving, or Black Friday?

My son, 13, and I met some friends and shot guns. Lots of guns! He is not much into recoil and prefers his SIG Trailside in .22. Pier pressure got to him and he shot an AR-15 (lots), 30-30 lever action (at least 10 rounds), a 12 gauge shotgun several times and a G30 (.45). I have created a monster!!! It is so cool.

On the way to church this morning, he said "Dad, I am worried. Now that I am not afraid to shoot the big guns, will I be able to in a year from now?". That discussion is for another thread.

I worked, 6am to 2:30pm. it was slow, not too many folks flying. I am just glad to be back at work.

psssst: I get paid almost a full weeks pay for working on Thanksgiving or Christmas.

I executed golf balls!

7 1/2 shot out of a .410 sure will make them jump, but not much damage. .30-30WIN on the other hand...

The 6 year old grandson and I had a turkey shoot on Thanksgiving. Of course a 1st grader knows how to draw a turkey. We did that Wednesday night and took them out to my range and had a shooting contest on Thursday before dinner. It was a hoot! Of course he won too.

Black Friday wasa trip to the gun show,

Saturday another Turkey shoot with the boy. Then it started raining, so I got to hide out in the basement and watch about half of Band Of Brothers while eating leftovers.

Great weekend.
