I know but the question is do you know. The first correct answer wins a fabulous prize of a congratulations from me.

I am betting someone will get it in the first three guesses

Supposedly my .17 Ackley Improved Hornet can shoot .17 Hornady Hornet.  I guess we will find out this weekend.

I assume the 17  HH has ever so slightly smaller dimensions than the 17 AHI so you are basically fire forming the 17HH into 17 AHI.  I base this on the fact a 17 AHI will NOT chamber into a 17 Hornady Hornet.

That is what I have read.  The shoulder angle is a little different int he two.  First I want to make sure it will chamber properly.  If it does, I will test it this weekend.
