Please help identify this Ruger Single-Six

Before I put this up for sale, I want to ensure that I'm able to accurately represent this Ruger Single-Six. I honestly don't know much about it.

Based on what little research I've done, I believe it is a Ruger Super Single-Six with a 6 1/2" barrel that was made sometime in the 60's. The last three digits of the serial number are engraved on the cylinder (22 Magnum), so I also believe it is a "convertible" model. I am still searching for the .22 LR cylinder. A partial serial number is 5610xx.

While most of the wear you see in the pics is there, I swear the "wear" you see on both sides of the front sight post is not there. I can only attribute that to the lighting.

Am I on or off base here?

As I understand it, before the New Model, the Super model simply indicated adjustable rear sight. It was only designated as such in catalog, as the word "super" wasn't ever on the frame itself.

 

And yeah, the mag cylinder having the serial number would seem to indicate that it was either convertible model or that someone had it fitted with extra .22mag factory cylinder after the fact, as a .22mag only model apparently was always designated on the frame as such, and if that were the case the cylinder wouldn't probably have been marked at all.

Yes, I have read that "super" indicated adjustable sights. All I know is what I've been able to find via Google searches. I think my description is pretty accurate, but I wanted to double check.

Seems right enough to me. Of course they still offer Single Six with and without the adjustable sights, they just don't identify them with different names, and they all come with both cylinders.

 

Obviously would be a plus to have the .22LR cylinder.
