dont sweat the time guys. before they took it out of the sheriffs hands several years ago it was 8 months before my son and i got ours in hamilton county. i was told he had a stack on his desk nearly 2 ins. high and just let them lay. we never voted for him again. got rid of him last election.

My wife and I were some of the first to get ours in Davidson County we did it all together she got hers in 3 weeks and it took them almost 4 months to get mine to me.

Anybody remember the old permits so big they would not fit in your wallet and plus you had to carry a bonded card.

I heard Cupp wasn't exactly friendly towards people back in the old days. I applied for mine after the system changed, so I never had to deal with his brand of tyranny.

I had electronic prints done when I applied for mine 2 yrs ago. Still took about 38 days.

When crossing the Canadian border several years ago all was going well until the driver's license was run via computer; the "lady" really didn't believe that I didn't have a firearm with me; asked at least four times and then decided the car needed to be completely searched as well as the luggage. Not even an empty shell case :)
